This is a dA ID? That's crazy!! This is so stunning- I can't blame you for putting on the watermark. Art theves would jump on this. This is great. The sky is cloudless, there is no planes, or anything disrupting the migration of the birds. The sun looks as if it's just about to set, which is always beautiful. But when you put great birds in front of it- migrating no less- is even better!!!! This is great, plus all of the rocks and stuff. The water, that's water right, is sitting just right on the landscape, which calls for a dd. I'm surprised this didn't get one yet!!!
The only thing that doesn't suffer, though only minimally, is the technique for following religiously the Rule of Thirds.
The most important thing for a photograph is the visual aesthetic. The sun is balanced inside the middle of the first third and the birds halt at the end of the second third. 1/4 of the way up the photograph the landscape comes in, shadowed by the landscape of the range behind it, giving the picture great depth.
Aside from a personal distaste for watermarks, in this case I feel like it distracts the eyes from the piece, the work is complete, clear and totally in focus.
